Country club: Zenith Bank drives adoption of its products through sponsorship


Zenith Bank in keeping with its commitment of supporting sporting activities in Nigeria, is sponsoring a two-week lawn tennis tournament at the Lagos Country Club.

Speaking on the competition, Zenith Bank Assistant General Manager for Retail Banking, Lanre Oladimeji says: “The bank had been at the forefront of supporting sporting activities at all fronts in Nigeria and was delighted to be staging a tournament at the Lagos Country Club.”

“From the grassroots up to the elite class, we owe the commitment of supporting and sponsoring sports dearly to our hearts and for this tournament; we will continue to give support as the need arises. We have been sponsoring sports for so many years and that tradition will continue for a very long time,” he said.

The competition kicked off on Friday September 20, 2019 and will end on October 5 2019.

Zenith Bank came with several ad banners propagating its numerous banking products, maximally leveraging on the sponsorship to drive adoption of its products.

The organisers say the aim of the competition is to harp on healthy bonding amidst club members and also harping the health benefit of sport to the body.

According to the section Chairman, Seyi Adewunmi, the tournament, which will feature as many as 80 participants, is expected keep the club buzzing throughout the period.

Adewunmi thanked Zenith Bank for sponsoring the championship, stressing that the institution is helping people to get longer life through their sponsorship.
